Here's the suggested workflow for scheduling interviews: 


  1. Create a job
  2. Create interview questions
  3. Set up interviews with candidates


In this article, you'll learn how to set up an interview.


1Log in to your EasyHire.me  account.

2. Click the plus sign, and select "Setup new interview"



3, Choose ON-SITE, LIVE, ON-DEMAND or ASSESSMENT video as interview type



  • On-site interview - candidate and interviewer appoint meet in the office or another convenient place for an interview at a specified time.
  • Live interviews - candidate and interviewer join the interview at a specified time.
  • On-demand (one-sided) - candidates are sent an interview link to take the interview anytime, anywhere. This is a one-sided video interview where the candidate records a video answers to the questions that appear in the screen. 
  • Assessment interview (one-sided) - candidates are sent an interview link to take the interview anytime, anywhere. This is an one-sided interview where the candidate gives a written response to the questions that appear in the screen. 


4. Setting up ON-DEMAND interview
  • Select the interview type as ON-DEMAND
  • Select the Job & Question set from the drop down. Specify the length of the interview as well as the time available to complete it. 
  • Select a candidate from the drop down if already added to the job (through the Jobs details page). If you need to send to a new candidate, just add the email id and press enter to view an option to add candidate's name and phone number. 
  • In case you need to add multiple candidates, click "many candidates?". This will open up a text area where you can add the email id of multiple candidates or using  CSV file . 
  • Click INVITE to send the on-demand interview invites to the candidate(s).




5. Setting up LIVE interview

  • Select the interview type as LIVE
  • Select the Job & Question set from the drop down. 
  • Select the interview duration and timezone.  
  • Propose multiple date and time for the interview. This would give the candidate an option to pick one of the timeslots 
  • Select a candidate from the drop down if already added to the job (through the Jobs details page). If you need to send to a new candidate, just add the email id and press enter to view an option to add candidate's name and phone number. 
  • Click INVITE to send an invite to the candidate for the live interview.


6. Setting up ON-SITE interview

  • Select the interview type as ON-SITE
  • Select the Job from the drop down. 
  • Select the interview duration and timezone.  
  • Propose multiple date and time for the interview. This would give the candidate an option to pick one of the timeslots 
  • Select a candidate from the drop down if already added to the job (through the Jobs details page). If you need to send to a new candidate, just add the email id and press enter to view an option to add candidate's name and phone number. 
  • Add additional information.
Click INVITE to send an invite to the candidate for the live interview. 


7. Setting up ASSESSMENT interview
  • Select the interview type as ASSESSMENT
  • Select the Job & Question set from the drop down. Specify the length of the interview as well as the time available to complete it. 
  • Select a candidate from the drop-down if already added to the job (through the Jobs details page). If you need to send to a new candidate, just add the email id and press enter to view an option to add candidate's name and phone number. 
  • In case you need to add multiple candidates, click "many candidates?". This will open up a text area where you can add the email-id of multiple candidates or using  CSV file . 
  • Click INVITE to send the on-demand interview invites to the candidate(s).




Can you invite multiple candidates for the interview? 

  • You can invite multiple candidates for on-demand, assessment and on-site interview.  Click "many candidates?" link to open a text box. Add email-id of all the candidates. 
  • Live video interview is supported only for 1-on-1 interview. Muli panels are not supported. However, you can send the recorded interview session to other members of the team and collaborate on the interview report

Does my candidate need an EasyHire.me account?
  • Candidates do not need an EasyHire.me account for taking the on-demand interview if you send them an invite for the interview
  • If you set up the job as external, the candidates can submit video interview through the external EasyHire Job Link page. This would require them to first signup using LinkedIn account. 
  • EasyHire.me account is free for the candidates. Registering for EasyHire allows the candidates to view the past interviews.
